FIRST FOUR IN THEIR NEW HOMES.....

A BITTERSWEET DAY!

Today, the pups began new lives with their new families.... but first, they had their last meal together....

Then, the exodus began: First to leave was DiGiorno, who will live close by in Wernersville and hopefully will have a career in the show ring. His new family has chosen Jazz as his new call name....

Next to go was Celeste, who will live in Philadelphia and will  keep her name; she will share her life with toy poodles!

Then Ms Marie met her new family and she will live in Lebanon (PA)....not sure if she will keep her name or not...

Last to leave today was Ida, who will have four children to help entertain her. Her new name will be Daisy. She is in Macungie and hopefully we will get to see her when we are at dog shows in Macungie.  She will go to the veterinary clinic where the doggy chiropractor practices...

And then....there were four!

These puppies will not head into their new homes til next weekend, and - of course - Ms Saralee will remain at Camp Reiter!

ENJOYING THE GREAT OUTDOORS!!!

Now that spring has finally arrived  the pups are really having a good time in their outdoor pen....

Soon....they will be heading out in all different directions to their new homes...update on Saturday.

Not sure if there will be any updates til maybe Wednesday...puppies get their vaccinations that day.

A BEAUTIFUL DAY

What a lovely spring day. Daughter Beckie and her husband Steve came to help set up the outside puppy pen and we also enlarged the inside pen a bit...pups keep getting bigger!

We do the "formal" evaluations on Saturday so will have pictures then.

Here are some face shots of each pup....some are sleeping and some are awake....had to take what I could by myself....was tempted to not name them and let people figure out who was who...but .... first are the two boys -- Klondike and DiGiorno (easy to tell apart!), followed by Rita and Celeste (also easy).....

Then we have Ida, Edy, Marie and Sara.....
